The BoB MKII can be operated in either the ‘Bench’ or ‘Field’ mode. These modes are as follows:
Ø ‘Field’ mode the BoB MKII utilises an internal battery 9VDC supply. This battery is a PP3; for details on how to change the battery, see Battery/Fuse Replacement.
Ø ‘Bench’ mode, the BoB MKII is connected to a 9VDC supply from a stabilised power supply, see figure below.
If used in ‘Bench’ mode, an external power supply will be connected.
A MAXIMUM OF 9VDC should never be exceeded or have an AC supply connected.
